Really looking forward to This is England '86

Still haven't watched the film yet, so I doubt I'll watch this.

The film is excellent, I would thoroughly recommend it

Yeah, I just haven't got around to it. I have it here somewhere.

I'll ditto the above plaudit for the This Is England film.

I thought the film was fantastic. Really hard hitting.

I've been watching Stephen Hawking's Universe on Discovery (OnDemand). And it really was quite good. It was one of the few shows of its kind that wasn't afraid to explore other ideas and possibilities. Now I don't really like it when a "science" show dips into interpretation of what aliens may look like for example but I really didn't mind most of the stuff explored here. Highly recommended. :)

In many ways, you're probably the worst person currently alive. Top five, at the very least.

The Libertines @ Reading. Not blowing my mind, but good to see them back together.

I agree, but then think they've come across much better on TV then most of the bands recorded on the main stage, you just don't feel the atmosphere and excitment like you do for the bands recorded in the tents. Arcade Fire, for example, I'm sure were brilliant, but it didn't come across well on my TV!

Both The Libertines and Arcade Fire were fantastic, although the latter were also much more than that.

I've been listening to The Libertines a lot this week. Makes me sad that rock and roll is dead whilst synth f**kers in wacky shades rule. Still, these things seem to come in cycles.
