Hello. just wondering if there are any on going sketch/screenplay competitions around at the moment? have I missed something on the thread? if so can you point it out to me or can point me in the right direction on the web please. thanks.

Comedy Central Sitcom writing opportunity (deadline next Monday)

I think BAFTA Rocliffe are doing a screenplay thing I saw an email about but if you search for that you should find something.
Sitcom Mission should be back in January too.

There's also Bluecat, but they want you to give them money.
(Actually, so do BAFTA Rocliffe, but you could have done it with them for a fiver if you had either sent it by post or had taken it round yourself as a delivered-by-hand-job in time to catch their early-bird-catches-the-worm-for-a-fiver deadline, which has now passed. You can still enter, but it'll cost more.)
