Yes one of his best ever roles too because it showed his talent, I love the Yellow Submarine. The Beatles were very anti it at the time, thinking it was exploiting their name and success, and yet Hughes especially was the sort of local working class bloke they liked best in real life. So I'm sure Macca mellowed his view on that one, and the film did The Beatles no harm at all.

Oh, that's very sad. RIP.
