Putting it together

I've never really put a sketch script together before, I'm assuming it's basically bolting my sketches together, but to avoid people pointing and laughing I just want to make sure am I right or is there a bit more to it than that?

You mean like a full sketch show episode?

I think it takes the skill of an editor for it to be done properly, I wouldn't worry about it, just stick them in what order you thinks best and join them together with transitions.

I don't think you pitch sketches as an episode anyway. Most likely you would just have to know; what type of humour it is and who's it aimed for, with a few sample sketches, the rest like I said, would proberly be done by an editor.

Yeah I thought it was something along those lines thanks for the advice leevil

Unless of course it's a Monty Python style show, where the characters run through other sketches, then I haven't a clue?

I think you should also write the title and who wrote it on each sketch as well.

THE SKETCH by PAUL WATSON

I can add that with a header and footer... does the same sort of job.
