Not sure if it's the show I was wondering about earlier, but does anyone remember Moondial from CBBC in 1988. Just been watching some clips on YouTube and it's some creepy stuff for kids.

You just reminded me of a show called Earthfasts

After reading the Wikipedia entry, I can say I remember it. Vaguely.

I used to watch Earthfasts.
The lead boy had a MEGA strong Yorkshire accent.

And despite that I would be willing to bet large amounts of money that you thought he was rather tasty, David. :)

The lead boy was Paul Nicholls!

That's him. I couldn't remember his name.

You're such a sievehead, zooo!

The original Moondial novel is great.

just ordered the series on DVD; the supplier looks well dodgy - rare and unreleased DVDs supplied on unmarked discs under a plain wrapper...

Ha. Yeah, it was released around 2002 I think, then deleted a couple of years later. Second hand copies are rare (when I've looked) and tend to be rather expensive.

Jesus I'm not that bad, though I did like the ginger one from The Demon Headmaster when I was 12

Ah, I can't remember his face. Need pictures!

I think as long as you didn't fancy the headmaster, you're okay.

The headmaster looked like Jack Straw, innit?

Yeah! Cool

The gingers name was Lloyd played by Gunnar Cauthery.

What would you like to do to him, David?

Well judging by what he looks like now, nothing that would be considered appropriate language on here. Lovey
