Only eight days late posting this, Aaron. No wonder Chortle are still the go to guys on the comedy news front.

I remember her well.

Before the Carry-ons I'm sure she did loads of TV. (I haven't read the obit)

Very sad. She was very good. Not many Carry On cast left. Jim Dale and Babs still going strong.

She was very good in 'Camping'.

Interesting how papers often overlook comedy actors. My friend treated Joan Sims in her sad last months. She didn't receive a lot of press when she died, despite how integral she was to British Comedy.

RIP.

I've always wanted Jim Dale to turn up in 'Enders and sweep Peggy off her feet! That would be excellent- they still need to get the right man in to be opposite her...

As for Joan Sims- she was great. I met her once. She didn't press charges.

Only found this out a few days ago.

I was gutted. Not many of them left now at all.
