2 Brits host China's only comedy news quiz show

So China's state run media isn't exactly known for having a sense of humour. But two British guys working for CRIENGLISH.com, the website of China's State Radio service, write and produce the country's only comedy news show, with a little dash of satire where possible.

Edited and Produced by a Chinese editor in the style of Taiwan TV, the show is a massive departure for China's state media.

I was watching the item about McDonald's more regionalised menus.

I'm sure Benny Hill's slapstick is easy to translate but would even English speakers in China appreciate a joke about 'having a rice day'?
