Sad to see that 2 of my old muckers have passed on. Both were a joy to direct and great fun in the bar in the evenings on location. They don't make 'em like that anymore. RIP William and Shaney.

I saw Bill Pertwee in Folkestone talking about Dad's Army. And he was brilliant as Seamus Android in Round the Horne.

RIP Pertwee A major loss to the comedy industry.

Two real underrated greats gone in a very short space of time. Gone, but certainly not forgotten around here.

Yes they were underrated ... people sometimes don't get how hard it is to do comedy, timing and delivery and they both delivered what they were given in spades.

I loved him as Constable Wilson in You Rang, M'Lord?, always on the cadge lol.
