I have given up spirits since before Christmas... not sure it is helping lol

OK Marc, I was following the' first line' of page, however the sentence is;
' And one forty-seven- year old man in particular collected the pictures as they appeared in the papers,'

The following sentence contains the rather wonderful description; 'He would cut and paste them into a scrapbook with hands sculpted by the harsh weather and salt air into cruel things.'

OK, must be correct with the writer checking me out, but is true that is the book I'm reading!

Blimey, this is cheating, but opened 'Wetherspoon News' p45, the first sentence is 'Get married in style from just £3,000'
