Not sure about this site. People react badly to feedback that isn't glowing praise, constant mention of formatting when you never hear any comment from producers on the matter and politics of 'you scratch my back...' to get bumped up.

F**king nightmare.

It wouldn't be so bad if the whole thing was anonymous. This comp relies on users to select the top 10 which seems ripe for abuse with a lot of established people on there with 'friends' reviewing their scripts.

Just had a look at Authonomy, seems a similar beast.

After seeking clarification they said you don't have to be in the top ten to be considered, but it gives your script 'greater prominence'.

If you checkout the recent competition results there hasn't been one winner selected from the 'top ten' reviews...

I won a competition on there and never even had a review...

BTW, it was already out of the 'top 10' when I wrote that review...

I was just pissed off at having been in the top ten for weeks only to drop out on the last day. You wrote an honest review so I shouldn't have bitched. In fact, thanks for the review.

I can only go on the competition rules, which stated that the shortlist would be the top ten selected via the online marking. Every competition on there has different rules, depending on who is sponsoring the comp. The Immersive competition, for example, is being judged only by the people running the competition--the peer reviews make no difference.

Anyway, I think one of the members here made the top ten so congrats and good luck in the judging!
