aaaand the cartoons were brilliant:

Forgotten Toys,
Hey Arnold,
Babaar,

I just Googled it..... Babaar started in 1989, but it ran all throught the 90s, so I'm going with 90s Whistling nnocently

The Gummi bears were in 1985 :O So you win that one Unimpressed Laughing out loud

I never heard of those heat t-shirt things? Sounds cool though!

I win!

The shirts were rubbish, but a massive thing.

They look rather stylish lol!! Did you have one?

I used to have those tshirts with little reflective pictures on them, like smilies or hearts........not such a trendy kid lol

I think it depends...

I did not have one. :(
I just used to play with them in the shops and make my hand print show up. *thrilling* ;)

Absolutely, the grunge period was the only time my tragic wardrobe was ever fashionable

Oh yeah, I forgot grunge.

I was thinking of the bright coloured baggy suits. Sick

"Game On" was great.

There are TONS of great US sitcoms!

Not sure about that. I think there's been maybe ten great American sitcoms in the last fifty years, of which Frasier is the best (season 1-6 only, of course).

I think the quantity sometimes masks the quality but from Bilko to 30 Rock via Taxi, Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends, Arrested Development et al. American comedy more than matches the British offerings.
But British comedy at its best, holds its own.

Correct!

Both nations have produced a ton of great sitcoms. And a slew of terrible ones.

Fondling clothing you have no intention of buying is absolutely the best way to spend the afternoon!

Er? Back to 90s sitcoms: One Foot In The Grave, The Brittas Empire, Bottom, Game On, to add to the original list for me, not many US sitcoms do it for me but I liked Friends, Will and Grace and Frasier.
