Michael McIntyre!

If you are a fan of the amazing British comedian Michael McIntyre, or even if you're not, please check out his fan forums!! ---> http://z13.invisionfree.com/Michael_McIntyre/

Why would a non-fan check out fan forums? :D

But welcome, and all that jazz. :)

He has his own forum?

Overkill?

Welcome anywho.

I first saw him on We Are Most Amused the other night - very funny. Looked him up on YouTube and saw him on Live at the Apollo and we were all in stitches. In fact, I laughed so much, by the end I had stomach ache and my shoulder was playing me up! I've bought his DVD (all new material) now. Him and Bill Bailey are my favourite comedians at the moment.

He he is at Live at the Pollo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es2l4yUBY6M

I didn't used to like him. But I've changed my mind and think he's pretty good now.

Welcome all the As.

*nods*

He's not exactly cutting edge or owt, but who cares! His routine about Christmas and the clocks changing at the Prince Charles thingy was hilarious.

I went to see him live on his tour a couple of weeks ago. He was fantastic! Very, very funny! Then, when he ran onstage to do his encore he slipped and fell, dislocating his shoulder. Everyone laughed at first not realising the extent of his injury. I was sitting three rows from the stage and could hear him shout for help but everyone thought he was joking so continued to laugh. After a while though we all started to wonder if he was ok and then we heard him say he thought he'd broken his arm! The stage manager came out and thanked the audience on behalf of Michael and asked us all to leave the theatre! A very weird ending to such a fantastic gig! Q!

Of all the B-List comedians (Russell Howard, Andy Parsons, Frankie Boyle, Robin Ince, etc) he's definitely one of the better ones. :S

He's great. I saw him for the first time on Live @ The Apollo and I couldn't stop laughing especially his snow/bus story.

Currently watching Michael McIntyre Live & Laughing. Very good! :)

Didn't McIntyre's Dad Produce, or write for The Kenny Everett Show?

Wikipedia: "His father is Ray Cameron, who wrote with Barry Cryer for Kenny Everett."

I am a huge Michael McIntyre fan! Of course the critical knives will always be out. But I don't really understand how one of TV's most talented stand-ups provokes such strong opposition. And forget about snobbery - doesn't it make a nice change to have a comedian talking about the everyday, the ordinary... the pain of traffic on a Friday, the stress of buying shoes... rather than all these highly satirical, dark and controversial political mutterings? McIntyre is a breath of fresh air to the world of comedy, no doubt about it. So critics, on your bikes ( http://www.bikester.co.uk/ ) ! Accept this man's rapid rise to fame for what it is - entirely merited.
