We are bringing up-and-coming American stand up Danny Bevins to the Edinburgh Fringe.
He has an interesting back story in that he's a former airborne infantryman who saw action in the first Gulf war. He took up comedy when he left the military (like you do). However he's not the sort of right wing jock stereotype that his military background would lead you to believe. Sarcastic and irreverent, there is a little bit of Bill Hicks in there, a touch of George Carlin, maybe be a less misanthropic Doug Stanhope.
