I'm writing a new US drama about three single guys, I'm thinking about giving one of them a baby in the pilot episode, single dad with a baby gives me plenty of material, just wondering if you think it's workable? Like if it progressed to a second series would having a baby still work for my character? Keep in mind it's US not UK.

It's feasable for a one off film but different for a TV drama which is reccuring.

Don't have one if you don't think it's feasible then. Don't see the difference myself mind.

Well just do it and see how it turns out.

If it generates story ideas keep it in, if it causes problems cut it out - or make it a baby sea lion.
