I had a quick trawl through Play.com and they have the first season of 30 Rock for £7.99. This seems quite a good price for 20 odd episodes. However, I have only heard about 30 Rock but never seen any of it. At this price would it be a good blind buy?

I'm up to the Head & Hair episode at the moment.
Really brilliantly written.
All I've actually seen is about half of season 4 I think, whatever is showing at the moment. But what I've seen I really like even though I can't comment on season 1.

Check out the price of the series 1 & 2 combined set before you buy the series 1 solus though.
