Beyond The Pole - Stephen Mangan & Rhys Thomas Page 5

I like the sound of RC's film!

ok I'm on page 10 and will ferrell's just seen seth taking photo's of leaves and things for their park's online mag and realises that he hasn't travelled so far from home and family because he loves nature and eco tourism. No...it's because he loves Seth

this is way before they get on to the sasquatch thing

Are you still here?

Your obviously reading a bogus fan script off the Internet, page 10 features Will Arnett as the owner of the big logging company hoping to destroy the park, page 11 sees Gary Busey as the crazed zen wilderness hermit and of course, page 11 introduces the love interest in the form of 'Rules of Engagment' star Bianca Kajlich.

Do try and keep up.

what no latent homoerotic love affair story line at all? What kind of buddy movie is this?

A successful one. Whilst it may not have the British 'worthiness' of home grown fare, it will get bums on seats throughout mainland USA. We're looking at a $220 million gross after the first two weeks of release - 1500 screens coast to coast.

Besides, any kind of homoerotic love affair doesn't go down to well with our sponsorship and product placement agreements. We raised 60% of the production finance from Pepsi and Burger King alone.

It may not win any awards but at least it'll pay for the helicopter pad on the back of my yacht with enough change left over to choke an army of Romanian hookers before dumpimg their bodies in international waters.

hmmm it has a darkness then...an edge...

but where's the love? the tenderness? I mean...have you seen blades of glory?

Seth falls for 'Rules of Engagment' star Bianca Kajlich, who plays an enviro tree hugger with Tourettes.

Whilst Will falls for '30 Rock' star Katrina Bowden, a Sarah Palin like hunter and Sasquatch enthusiast.

Look out for the cameo by Ben Stiller as the crazed lumberjack with hooks for hands - it's hilarious.

umm ...cameo from Russell Brand or...Ricky Gervais?

(My homoerotic love story)... will get bums on seats throughout mainland USA.

Homoeroticism is surely the opposite of bums on seats, isn't it? :S

Depends what seat it is...

anyone see rhys thomas on bbc talking about bellamy's people?

There's a feature film you may not have heard of yet but it stars Stephen Mangan, Rhys Thomas, Alexander Skarsgard, and Helen Baxendale and it is getting unbelievable reviews.

Take a peek and if you want more info go to Beyond the Pole's facebook page. This thing was shot on floating sea ice off the coast of Greenland and is not like any other indie flick you will have seen before. And the best thing - it's a British comedy feature that it is...wait for it...funny!

Okay, now I hate this person and this film.

Did anyone notice how only one of those pull quotes came without elipses?

I'm guessing they originally read something like this:

"exceptional ballache... this morning I had a consistently enjoyable romp" EMPIRE

"unique title...wasn't The Godfather a great film" BRITFLICKS

"beautiful cinematography...not very funny" BINA007

"superb failure...oh for some beautifully drawn characters" EYEFORFILM
