Jamie Foxx is a stand up, yeah.

He's actually a f**king terrible standup, from what I recall. Really poor.

Is this another Tom Hanks situation, or is it real...
:)
Didn't know he was a comedian, can't imagine it somehow.

Yeah, it's true. Not sure what he did first but I've seen him do standup.

"Eric Marlon Bishop (born December 13, 1967), professionally known as Jamie Foxx, is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and Rhythm & blues singer..."

- Wiki.

He started off on "In Living Colour", which launched Jim Carrey's career.

He was quite good as a child molester in one film. Although the film was hard work.

Was that Absolution? Connolly was alright, but Burton was OTT!

Jamie Foxx, is nice to look at, but really? Miami Vice, The Soloist and Dream Girls? He should stick to singing.

Surprised no-one's mentioned Eddie Murphy. Beverly Hills Cop was ace, and Coming to America was one of the funniest films of the '80's IMO.

Steven Webber as Johnathan Harker in Count Dracula Dead and Loving it :)

Morecambe and Wise in The Riviera Touch . . :)

Steve Martin - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, 'nuff said.

Bobby Ball (as has been mentioned already) was great in the fattest man thing.

Felt a bit sorry for Frances Barber though during the "sex scene" Sick!

And Lenny Henry just won a best newcomer acting award for his Othello. Which I haven't seen.

He's not a comedian surely???

Steve Martin.

Good pick, he's a great actor.

And although I don't really like Robin Williams, he was very good in One Hour Photo.

I love that film. I think it was the first film the director had made after making ads which is why it looked so appealing visually at times. (Apart from the gore of course).

Has Bill Murray not been mentioned yet? He only has one look but its a good one.

And Rik Mayall.

:)

I guess Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy are worth a mention. I think they are just as funny acting as the were doing stand-up. They were good in the roles that they were in.

Technically it is "In Living Color" ... :)

Similar to SlagB, who won a porn industry award for his ol' fella.
