Gervais / Mika mashup

This is the best thing I've seen in ages. http://www.funnyordie.co.uk/videos/4d3b45d547/mika-vs-david-brent

They showed some of this on Friday Night with Jonathon Ross on, umm, Friday. Gervais and Mika were on the show and found it amusing.

On the DVD of The Office: Christmas Specials, they have an extra showing Gervais et al (including Noel Gallagher on lead guitar) recording a full-band version of the song. It's strangely quite good.

That's because it actually is a good song. I have it on my IPod.

Gervais learnt from This Is Spinal Tap that if you're going to have spoof songs in your comedy, then make sure they're really well composed.

And all the audiobooks and Podcasts, Yes Jacob?

:)

They're doing another one soon. Guide to Society...

The funniest song that Gervais did in The Office though was the Princess Diana one for Dawn.

Ricky Gervais, Funny? Get out of it.

Do you just not like him? But like his work?

This Is Spinal Tap

It's baffling to me that people know the 'amp goes up to 11' thing, and laugh at the ridiculousness of it, but don't see how ridiculous it is to have football league tables in which there are two divisions above the first division.

He's just jealous of Gervias's lover. It's infatuation.

To me it's personal. I don't get angry. I get even.
