I'm not a fan of Quorn, plus their products contain eggs (so they're not Vegan). We have the steak mushrooms quite a lot, they're alright. Linda McCartney does a good range though. 
I've had Quorn burgers before. And have heard of tofu burgers, and veggie burgers. Just hadn't heard of bean burgers before! It sounds odd.
I had one once, rather nice actually. Spicy.

Have you tried Tivalli? An kosher company that does really nice stuff.

Do you mean veggie(tarian) or vegetable burgers? I do like vegetable burgers, but not so much in a burger bun.
Tofu is actually Soybean (soya milk/soy sauce/veggie mince) curdled and compressed. Sometimes if you have something with small chicken/beef pieces in, it's normally flavoured soya meat. Tofu on it's own, isn't that great. Just tastes like flavourless scrambled egg, but add herbs, spices whatever and it's pretty good but can take practice to get right yourself.
Bean Burgers are nice, but not my favourite. If you like spicy (but not necessarily hot) food, like curry (or even Mexican maybe(?) then you'll no doubt like them.
Other "fake meat" alternatives are Wheat Gluten, which I'm currently practicing with myself. Certainly a weird product. It's basically flour in its rawest state (without bleach and stuff on it). When you add it to water, it turns into a gum like texture and takes practice to get it right, but when you do, it almost simulates a chewy meat texture. Store-bought burgers use this method, not sure if it's as popular as tofu though?
And there's mushrooms too. Although I'm not sure how this works. But there's a fast food joint in Soho called RedVeg and it sells Mushroom Burgers and if you're looking for a satisfying burger meat imitator - go there!

I started this thread in order to bring all the BCGer's together. I think renegade was very very funny with his daft hayper type posters however the reason for mine and spagetts anger is that Aarons post don't appear to be making any attept at a joke and are just basically trying to insult mine and Spagets salt of the earth people.
