Your question was 'How honest is the BBC.' I have found them to be upfront and honest. Their team of front line readers are work very hard to get through submissions as quickly as they can. Having said that, if your script is a romantic comedy and it is read by a Sci fi fan, then the chances may not be so great as if it is was read by a rom com fan.

I sent them mine in early November I think it was, just got it back last week with a very polite rejection, oh well, onwards and upwards
