Death Valley

I watched the first one out of curiosity. I was amazed at how silly it all was.

Anyway I gave it another go and got involved. Cosy crime they call the genre. Like Midsummer Murders which started the whole thing off, but this is much more comedy.

Timothy Spall really goes OTT with his expressions and mannerisms. And in the fourth part there's Sian Gibson and Mike Bubbins plus earlier they had Vicki Pepperdine and Geoff Howick.

The other lead is Gwyneth Keyworth who I didn't know but am warming to.

I really liked it. Similar feel to Beyond Paradise. Plus various Gavin and Stacey alumni popping up, because there are only about 7 Welsh actors.

I've seen reviews both positive and negative. Once you accept all the characters though it's quite enjoyable light entertainment.

I think a lot of the people who don't like it just aren't used to cosy crime. If you come to it expecting Line of Duty you're not going to be impressed.

The biggest load of drivel Tim spall has ever done , did he have a tax bill to pay ? Or just desperate to be back on TV.He has had an amazing career but this is beyond monkey tennis.

I dudnt watch past the first episode because I found the main detective extremely annoying.

That Welsh bird was in the sitcoms defending the guilty and the 2016 series called wasted that had Sean bean as a mythical warrior which were both really funny.I can't stand her in this too and that says alot next to tim spallls over haming it up.
