I don't normally have a problem with any accent but the sound seemed a bit muffled. Let me know what you think, Herc. Reminded me of the bad sound of that thing last year - 'Jamaica Inn'.

Have now watched The Sweeney film, and with respect I think it is the accents along with the slang that you were having trouble with - I reckon I managed to get about 95% of the dialogue with no apparent muffled sound, BUT you do have to contend with the effin "background" music. Why do they do that!!!

Enjoyed it though, but wondered about Ray Winstone seriously banging a young bit of stuff without having a heart attack!

Also wanted to check out the car chases as I remember him saying on some chat show awhile back that he didn't do the driving and was shitting hot bricks at the speed they were travelling at. They gave him a dummy steering wheel and had a professional rally driver do the business, and then mirrored the resulting chases. Very realistic!

Oh, well, I'll just rush off and have my ears checked. :(

Is that the lovely Kate Robbins on Last of the Summer Wine?

Earlier I watched Blankety Blank on Challenge.

The world is a sadder place without Les Dawson.

Potential Homeland spoilers follow.

We're half way through Homeland season 2, and the writers don't seem to have bothered continuing the idea that there is a mole in the CIA... because if there was a mole, Brodie's cover would be blown. Am I missing something, or will it make sense later, or is it simply a mistake ?

Prom night dumpster baby - swinging their umbilical cords. Laughed out loud!

Quick OR. You should be able to catch Kirsty in Wolverhampton if you turn over to Channel 4 + 1.

Getting into Time Team.

Had dismissed it for the past 21 years as boring on the basis of 10 minutes viewing.

Mr TBN has a bit of a 'thing' for intelligent females such as Carenza Lewis Hug

'Ted'. It's unbelievable madness. Just what I need on a Saturday night.
