New British comedy movie Blueberry Inn is now in production, with filming taking place in Yorkshire.
The story is centred around a character played by Coupling and Pirates Of The Caribbean star Jack Davenport. Jonathan is an emotionally-stunted butler who is inexplicably gifted a broken-down inn from his lord and is tasked with uniting three chaotic employees and a cheeky pig against the heirs' attempts to bankrupt the inn.
The comedy, written and directed by Sonia Guggenheim (The Mad Whale), is described as "a social satire that pokes fun at class, capitalism, and our tragic misunderstanding of pigs".
Michael Maloney plays Lord Arlington, with Florence Hall and Jonathan Oldfield as his offspring, Elizabeth and George (pictured with Jonathan).
Flowers and Peacock star Sophia Di Martino takes on the role of a character called Edith and the comedy ensemble is joined by Alexander Arnold, Ace Bhatti and Young Performer BAFTA award winner Chloe Lea.
Blueberry Inn is shooting at Castle Howard in North Yorkshire and has made a commitment of support to the Estate's Bog Hall habitat restoration project. Katrina Kudlick (Appendage) of Fever Dream Studios produces with Hadley Greswold (Play Pals) of Dancing Fox Entertainment. Angus Finney (The Mother) serves as executive producer alongside Mariyah Dosani and John Glencross of Calculus Media, Michael Laundon and Michael Bassick. Tom Tucker (Flux Gourmet) co-produces.
