Alan Partridge is going to host TFI Friday
Chris Evans has announced that 'national treasure' Alan Partridge will be joining him to co-host a 90 minute TFI Friday Christmas special.
Joining Chris and Alan for a special comedy-focused episode of the entertainment show will be James Corden, who is jetting in for his first UK chat show appearance since successfully taking over The Late Late Show in the US.
Also appearing will be Lee Mack and Jack Whitehall.
Meanwhile the line-up of music-based guests "personally curated" by Evans and Steve Coogan will include Sir Tom Jones, Bryan Adams, Lianne La Havas and Elle King.
Chris Evans says: "Having staggered through nearly 200 TFI Friday rehearsals and live shows over the years, it'll be a relief to see how it should be done by Norfolk's master of broadcasting."
Alan Partridge added "I was honoured to receive the invitation to co-present Thank Frig It's Friday. The fee being offered was more than generous, and as soon as I received photographic evidence that my dressing room had its own shower, I signed on the dotted line. My only slight niggle is that they refused to pay for my transport."
The TFI Friday Christmas special will be on Channel 4 on Friday 18th December 2015, from 7.30pm.
