As we discussed in a recent piece, there are plenty of myths about the comedy industry, some of which hold new writers and performers back. So, in particular order, here are 5 more comedy industry myths - busted!

It's all down to luck

No! Obviously luck does sometimes play a part, but there is no better way of creating a stroke of luck than lots of hard work.

It's important not to fall in the trap of believing some writers and comedians are "lucky", and you are not. Just keep writing - and, if you perform, performing - and focusing...
