Series 4, Episode 11 - North Wales

This time Tudur's coming home to North Wales. It's a land of weekend warriors, Klingon speakers and eccentric railwaymen, full of lively characters from the nation's TV past.

Further details

Tudur takes a tour around his neck of the woods, north Wales. His aim is to show off the area that he knows and loves - a unique place with a rich history and culture.

In 1978, a Wrexham record and book shop held a competition to create a song suitable for singing on the terraces at Wrexham F.C. The winning entrant was 78 year old Tai-Nant resident, Edward Thomas Williams, who is interviewed about his successful entry before breaking into a singalong version of the winning anthem.

Blue Peter presenter John Noakes is in north Wales along with faithful companion Shep as John takes part in several challenges. Firstly, he has a rehearsal appointment in Blaenau Ffestiniog with the choirmaster of the Brythoniaid Male Voice Choir. Later, Noakes is in Nant Gwynant where he's faced with climbing up Clogwyn y Wenallt as a nervous Shep looks on from below.

Other archive clips include a mystery in Dolgellau after a discovery of uranium and a meeting with Wrexham's only speaker of Klingon.
