Millions of viewers were eagerly awaiting the return of Paul Whitehouse's drama - impressive for a comedy based around depression, mid-life crisis and getting hammered. Still, series two upped the ante - with passionate affairs, guest stars and even more Kung Fu Nurse Bear!
Danny (Paul Whitehouse), the voice behind Dezter, is still striving for happiness - a cure for baldness, an attempt to be 'nice', a visit to a call girl, an audition as a real actor in a cosy drama 'Wet Feet' and Martial Arts classes. Meanwhile, around him relationships break down, heart-attacks strike and Charlie (Johnny Vegas) is still getting pissed.
