Rosie Holt is to publish a book titled Why We Were Right, which comes with the tagline "a catalogue of Conversative successes from comedian and social media satirist Rosie Holt".

Publishers Ebury Press explain: "Rosie Holt is best known to her >300k followers for her viral internet sketches on X/Twitter in character as a hapless, desperately loyal Conservative MP. Her MP alter ego often creates chaos online, as she reacts to the news agenda. One recent 'interview' caused Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid to warn her followers to 'always double check who Rosie Holt is before you reply!' after Rosie inserted herself in a GMB interview around the Post Office Scandal in her MP character, to blame ITV and Toby Jones for not making the [drama series] sooner.

"Having flourished as an 'MP' during the reign of Boris and clung on through to Rishi Sunak's Government, via a short and turbulent detour through the brief fever dream of Liz Truss, Rosie - everyone's favourite internet MP - will have you cheering and desperate to ensure the Tories rule for another 14 years.

"Written from the perspective of the MP, she sets out her manifesto and passionate celebration and defence of the last 14 years of Conservative government. She explores the triumphs of the last decade - from getting Brexit done and bending the Ministerial Code, to rowing back on climate change policies and voting in Liz Truss as leader. Why We Were Right explains why the so called 'scandals' or 'controversial' decisions of the Government that have been derided by the Left and the 'woke' media were completely right - and intentional - all along. Let's make Britain great again. (Again.)"
