Inside No. 9 scripts to be published

The scripts for Inside No. 9, BBC Two's comedy anthology series written by and starring Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, are to be released in a series of books.
The first three series are being released this year, with Series 4 to 6 set to be published in 2021, by newly-launched publishing imprint Hodder Studio.
So far, five series of the multi award-winning show have been broadcast, with Series 6 expected to air early in 2021. As previously reported, a seventh series has already been ordered too, and is expected to be broadcast in 2022.
Inside No. 9: The Scripts - Series 1-3 will be published in paperback on November 12th 2020, alongside a special, signed Collector's Edition box set.
A special behind-the-scenes book entitled Inside Inside No. 9 will also be published next year.
Steve Pemberton comments: "I've always been a keen collector of script books from writers I admire, and take huge inspiration from seeing the words of the shows and films I love set out on the page. I'm delighted that Hodder Studio are publishing our efforts on Inside No. 9 and look forward to families up and down the country re-enacting games of sardines, silent burglaries and 17th Century witch trials this Christmas."
Reece Shearsmith adds: "I am thrilled that the scripts for Inside No. 9 are finally being made available. Hodder Studio have been fantastic in creating beautiful designs for both the paperback and the gorgeous collectors editions. For a fan like me, they are of course a 'must have' but these inventive, surprisingly told self contained stories deserve a place on your book shelf anyway. (But I would say that wouldn't I!)."

Lockdown regulations permitting, Series 6 of Inside No. 9 will begin filming shortly.
