Greywing

Greywing to the rescue! Timothy Spall stars as the world's most inept superhero. "He slipped effortlessly into his super sleek costume... oh, how come their tights never wrinkle in the comics?"
Bludden-On-Sand better buckle up as there is a new hero in town! Frustrated furniture fitter Nigel Struddock (Spall), with the help of a sewing machine, creates an alter ego: 'Greywing' - a local caped crusader determined to fight evil and bring justice wherever he can. He's got the mask and the cape, but where's the crime?! Every superhero needs an arch enemy and soon dastardly ice cream tycoon, Benny Leake (Bernard Hill) appears on the scene to be Greywing's.
Cheer for the hapless hero as he battles to stop villainous Benny Leake's sabotage plan, if only he can get the ice cream van to go fast enough. Local dramas come thick and fast for the gormless Greywing; dead fish are washed up on the beach and a funfair big wheel gets out of control. If that wasn't enough, Nigel's superhero alter-ego must jump into action at a dole office siege and things get tricky when his dastardly nemesis hires a heavy to dispose of him. Is our hero's number up? Surely not? Greywing to the rescue!
A stellar line up of actors star in Simon Bullivant's wonderfully hilarious comedy. Timothy Spall plays Nigel Struddock aka Greywing, Bernard Hill is Benny Leake and Tilly Vosburgh stars as Judy Marvick, with a supporting cast including Julian Rhind-Tutt.
