There are two levels of award: one for Starter members and one for our other members; so you're only ever competing with your peers.
ProductionFebruary to April
The Production prize aims to recognise those who work on video and audio projects: producers, directors, editors and other behind-the-camera jobs.
Submit your video sketch, short film, podcast or other audio project, and our industry judging panel will select the best.
Prizes include exhibition of the winning clips on British Comedy Guide, promotion to our huge audience, and mentoring and work placement opportunities.
WritingMay to July
This award involves sending us two 90-second sketches to a given brief. Every script is read by at least two readers.
Prizes include having your sketch produced, feedback and mentoring and exposure to production partners.
PerformanceAugust to October
The Performance award is for those who perform comedy live. To enter, submit a video clip of yourself in action. The best 5 entrants in the competition are then invited to take part in a live final, alongside a judges' Starter winner.
Prizes include expert coaching and mentoring.
