The Comedy Doctor on titles
A members asks: Can you give me any advice on picking a programme title? I feel the right title might help get the attention of producers? Pretty much everything on TV seems to be just one word at the moment... Avoidance, Dinosaur, G'wed, Mammoth, Mandy... is that what they're after nowadays?

Of course, you are right that your project's title is the first impression a script reader, producer or viewer will get of your show.
Whilst some scripts are circulated with "Untiled sitcom project" on the front page, I do not recommend that.
