Best In Class launches Marie Goulbourne Award
Best in Class have announced a new award in memory of stand-up Marie Goulbourne. The Marie Goulbourne Award, which aims to help a comedian attend the Edinburgh Festival, is open to comedians of any experience level who are working class, queer and northern.

Stand-up comedian Marie Goulbourne has died unexpectedly from a health issue, aged 46. A rising star on the comedy circuit, she won the Lancaster-based heat of the BBC New Comedy Awards earlier this month.
