  • Comedian Daniel O'Reilly has announced a new stand-up tour
  • Better known as character Dapper Laughs, he'll be appearing as himself in the show, his first in nearly a decade

Daniel O'Reilly has announced a new stand-up comedy tour.

His first tour in almost ten years, he is best known under the guise of his now retired character Dapper Laughs, whose comedy attracted national controversy and an infamous Newsnight appearance.

The comic initially rose to prominence on social media, and has continued entertaining a fanbase there over the past decade, as he has battled addiction, married, and become a father.

The new tour, Out Of Character, will see O'Reilly appear on stage as himself as he addresses his tumultuous life and career to date. Currently announced dates run from January to May 2024, including venues in Plymouth, Lancaster, Loughborough and London.

Promoters explain: "Daniel O'Reilly, better known as his character creation Dapper Laughs, is still boasting one of the largest, strongest, most loyal and fastest growing social media followings in the UK, and his fans have grown up with him through the years.

"He has had many characters, but for this live show he's going Out Of Character to stand-up as he brings the laughs and looks back on the mischief, the mistakes and the madness of his career so far.

"From losing it all, battling addiction and becoming a father, he's been on quite a rollercoaster and wants you to come for a ride with him, so grab your tickets now and make sure you got your seat belt on!"

Tickets for most dates are on sale now, with others being made available in the coming weeks.
