The Good Life

We've just started watching "Good Neighbors" aka "The Good Life" here in the States and think it's one of the best of British humor. But, we have one question.
What is that cloudy colored drink they're always popping open. I think it's called peapod. Is it really a drink or part of the sitcom? Wave

It's not a name that I recognise, but then could easily be a brand that was discontinued before I was born. Like Tab.

Probably something they make themselves though. If you reckon it's called peapod, maybe from boiling or squishing peas.

Anyone else?

I think it was homemade wine, made out of peapods (in the same vein as Reggie Perrin's son in law's 'sprout').

yep, it's the home made wine. I didn't know it was called peapods, but that must be it as they drink it in almost every episode! That's why they cringe after taking a sip, home made wine is pretty strong stuff.

I think they called it 'Peapod Brandy' which sounds rather unlikely however. Wine would be more likely.
