Well, watched it, and it was a slight improvement on the "sequel", which was mainly down to a very good performance by Frankie Howerd, who took on Peter Sellers' part, (who had moved on to 'The Mouse That Roared') assisted by the likes of Thora Hird, Shirley Eaton etc.

Mediocre late 50s Brit comedy and like "Up the Creek", certainly not a film I would watch again.
