Don't Take It To Heart! (1944)

Comedy? I'm not sure, but it did have a quite comical court room scene at the end, but prior to that it lacked promise. What WAS noticeable though, was the titled family name of Bucket, pronounced Bouquet - ring a bell anyone? "Borrowed" by Roy Clarke?

IMDb :-
The castle ghost helps the lady (more than her) and the lawyer (not really) beat off developers (the local landlord). Nuff said.

Stars Richard (1950's TV Robin Hood) Greene, and the others I recognised were Esma Cannon as a dotty maid (norm for her, of course), Edie Martin (one of the dotty ladies in The Ladykillers), Edward Rigby (playing his usual grumpy self), Joan Hickson (snooty wife), Moore Marriott ( without Graham Moffatt) and an unrecognisable Harry Fowler, playing a cheeky post-boy.

If it hadn't been for the end, I would have felt cheated of 1½ hours.
