Top 10 TV shows of the 21st Century

Apparently a poll of 200 television specialists from 43 countries has come up with a list of the 100 greatest TV series since the year 2000.

I haven't since all of them but of the top 10 I have only ever seen 2 of them*.

1. The Wire
2. Mad Men
3. Breaking Bad
4. Fleabag * (one episode)
5. Game of Thrones
6. I may destroy you
7. The Leftovers
8. The Americans
9. The Office (UK) * (watched it all and loved it)
10. Succession.

I never bother with these things cos they're totally subjective and you're bound to disagree with something. You couldn't make your own list, and if you did, you'd disagree with it next day. There was a rundown of all the solo Beatle albums... Nearly seventy of the f**kers... What're the chances it'll match mine?

Only ever watched No. 9**, which coincidentally I have only recently re-watched Series 1 & 2 in my DVD box-set rotation.

**And Inside No. 9, of course. :D

Unforgotten nowhere in the list so meaningless.

Well most of them are American - which I don't generally watch and then they're on Netflix or Sky.

I've seen 5 of the Top 10. Anyone who hasn't seen Breaking Bad should rectify that error immediately. The Wire is also compelling TV.

I think Barry should have been on the Top 100 list. Ted Lasso, too.

I do love The Americans.
