Love In Pawn (1953)

The only film made with Canadian couple Bernard Braden and Barbara Kelly together in starring roles I believe (they had minor parts in "Jet Storm" I reviewed yesterday) and it's was quite good actually and had its funny moments.

I've always had a secret crush on Barbara, so went weak at the knees when she was posing as his artist's model, showing some wonderful legs.

John Laurie had a major part as a stuffy solicitor, and there were parts for the rough tough character actor Michael Balfour, Joan Hickson (uncredited), Alvar Liddell playing himself as the BBC announcer (often wondered what he looked like)..............................Oh and look, there's our old friend Sam Kydd again very briefly and uncredited.
