Essentially, it's a buddy cop movie starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy as two woefully mismatched American cops who have to work together.

Both women are excellent in their roles but extra special mention has to go to the writer Katie Dippold who I suspect must have sold her soul to the devil in exchange for the talent necessary to write two hours' worth of such sensationally funny dialogue - most of it from Melissa McCarthy's character.

Brilliantly funny and thoroughly recommended!
