yes, in it actually. near highpark end, if you know it.
I'm originally from Crosby. I spent many great days in Southport, at the faiground, etc, when I was a kid. Also, the Botanic Gardens in Churchtown were pretty cool, back in the day.
ah southport, home to the world's only lawnmower museum.
the lawn mower museum and botanic gardens are still going strong, there is a fantastic restruant near there. The fair ground has gone now though. Southport is slowly dying i think, which is sad.
I'm going fishing in crosby tomorrow, do you want me to say hi to your folks :-)?
Whereabouts are you fishing? You might actually see my sister, as she usually goes down to the leisure centre on a Sunday.
By the way, I heard there was a new fairground opening in Southport.

Ha! on the sea front near the life boat station, going on wednesday night now instead.
Yeah a new one has opened but it's only temporary i think.
The lawnmower museum is awesome by the way
