Don't know if this has ever been mentioned but there's a show on BBC7 called Serious About Comedy, where the host and two or three judges comment on comedy for the last week. They were discussing Bearded Ladies and some DVD releases last week.

It's on a Friday morning and repeated tonight at 10pm. Though you can catch it on the 'Listen Again' feature if you miss it.

Yes, I watched the last series, it's quite good actually and it's nice to hear Robin Ince's(?) passion for comedy.
