As I'm currently on a gap year and have plenty of time on my hands, I've started posting daily videos of topical jokes. I hope it will bring people enjoyment as well as helping me to improve my joke writing skills. I think that is genuinely a good idea and I hope you can always take the micky out of the news, especially Clegg. My favourite was the Sonic the Hedgehog joke.

Nice idea and some good jokes (although there's quite a few which aren't so good).

One tip, from something I noticed in the joke about the council putting a fence through a goalpost, try to avoid repeating a word, in this case "fence", from the set up in the punchline. The punchline is "sitting on the fence" so in the set up use "railings" or another synonym for fence.

But keep writing and re-writing.

My favourite sketch shows are 'the smell of Reeves and Mortimer', 'The league of gentlemen', 'The Peter Serafinowicz show' and 'Jam'. How about you?

Some good jokes, and impressive turnaround. Unless you can get someone to read them out though, this is much better suited to Twitter.
