In praise of Else Garnett

I just thought this character, Alf Garnett's wife in Till Death Us Do Part and the first series of In Sickness & In Health, deserved a thread of her own. She was so funny and so excellently played by the brilliant Dandy Nichols.

Indeed, such a deadpan delivery.

'What do you look like? Ken Dodd that's what you look like !'
.
.
.

'What I'm saying is, I can't see my sister in Southend but you could. You could see my sister in Southend.'

'I don't want to see your bloody sister !'

:D
