I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,990

Therefore mentioning it in connection with the incident in question is clearly nonsense.

The incident in question was the police feeling they had to reveal the ethnicity of the suspect, for justified fear that there might be a repeat of the Southport Riots which, remember, happened just 20 miles away, when racist thugs set fire to asylum seekers in their hotel and stoned a mosque as well as dragging a black man out of his car.
They also attacked the police.
Linking both incidents is absolutely justified and not in the slightest nonsensical.
My point, originally, was what a sorry state of affairs this is,
Previously, if there was a terror attack we didn't have gangs of thugs seeking out anyone with a brown skin to wreak some sort of misguided revenge.
But the rise of the Far-Right and constant shit-stirring and race-baiting from Farage, Reform and GB News - in the time-old tactic of blaming 'others' for the world's woes - has raised the temperature to such a degree that the police have to take this into consideration.
But I imagine you knew that's what I meant.
Or at least I hope you did.
But I thought I'd clarify it for others who might not be keeping up.

And my point was that it is not the so-called "far right" or Farage, Reform or GB News that is ultimately responsible for where we now are but the past acts of terrorism that have made everybody wary. And that, because of those, the police were right to announce the identity of the perpetrator to set people's minds at rest that this was not an on-going terrorist attack. To suggest that, had they not been so informed, they would have gone out to "set fire to asylum hotels and stone mosques" without any evidence is, frankly, condescending and disparaging to the local populus. And nonsense.

The fact that it's 2025 - and we even have to discuss this is utterly f**king ridiculous...

Some people in this country clearly long for a return to the days of the NF and gangs of skins going round "pa*i bashing" and posting dog shit through people's letter boxes because they are "c**ns"

Its absolutely pathetic

Actually we don't have to discuss it. Notwithstanding the two initial posts that started the discussion:

We now live in a country where the police have to immediately announce that a suspect in a violent crime is BRITISH AND WHITE, so Farage and his black shirts don't incite race riots on our streets

I know - a ridiculous state of affairs -.thanks for nothing Farage & Co,

We do

Because the police now have to pander to racist inbred cretins in the course of their work

You do you mean.
Us far right racists thugs don't.

You bring racism into nearly every post.
Me thinks he doth protest too much.

But that's exactly what happened before.
Twenty miles away.
It's called precedent.
And, anyway, historically suspects identifies have always been kept quiet - that doesn't mean police can't give details of the incident or any continuing threat - so the "setting people's minds at rest" argument is a complete red-herring.
Stirring up hate is a tactic freely employed by Farage, Reform, GB New et al.
It was evident - with catastrophic results - after Southport.
And they were at it again after the Liverpool incident - even after the guys identity was disclosed.
If you don't like the term Far-Right, fair enough, I'm more than happy to supply a few alternatives

How's that hole going? Tired yet?

Yeah, I make posts about racism in this country- because I'm secretly a racist?!!

Me thinks you doth talk absolute shite too much 😂

For the hard of thinking- Paul Doyle, 53 is from West Derby in Liverpool

He isn't called Mustapha Khan and he isn't from Syria and he didn't float down the Mersey on a rubber dinghy shouting "allahu akbar!!!!! Death to the infidels!"

Glad that clears that up....

I'm not condoning the incident in any way but they haven't mentioned which football team this man supports because I suspect he does support one. I think they're keeping that quiet too.

Why would that be relevant other than to create division where there is none?
This incident had nothing to do with football other than the victims were out celebrating winning the league.

.

Have you not met todays society, Teddy? Every single thing that happens is used to create division and make us hate each other that little bit more.
