Yes I've been drinking tonight as I do most nights to dull my brain from the disappointments of life. When you get to my age [70, see my avatar] one realises that nothing ever exciting is going to happen and that the ship you so relied on is called the Titanic. When I innocently come on here and put up a thread about a legend of comedy, it breaks my heart that the likes of Soojy mock it and creates a row.
I guess that is what the younger generation are all about........no manners and f**king rude

Anyway. There's always going to be a few silly posts on these threads. I find it best to give it a while, and the sensible posts you were hoping for will usually turn up in the end.

As I've tried to point out BB the fire wasn't there until you imagined it. And any thread about a comedian will attract fans and the opposite.

Seefacts is alive and well and locked in my cellar, eagerly writing new sitcom pilots - which I then send to producers as my own. The only thing I've told him about the outside world is that Griff is now considered the "new Lineham" - this seems to keep him motivated.
