Threads on the DVD release and theme tune but not the series itself. I'm currently watching the final series on DVD. A great series and real pity it will never get a repeat showing on TV.

I've only watched the first few series to date, but really enjoyed them. Lots of good laughs. Can't wait to watch - and buy - the rest. Might just wait for the box set to drop in price though.

Still contains a couple of the greatest moments in sitcom history (for me)
1. When Alf first meets Winston and
2. The one with Patricia Hayes and Irene Handl when Irene thinks Alf is the doctor.
Absolute classics.
I remember the episode where Alf met Winston. In the same episode he had some epic barneys with his home helps, who all walked out on him.
Those few scenes where Alf first meets Winston are just ... fantastic. So very funny.
It was a brilliant idea of Johnny Speight to make Winston gay as well as black. Think he is actually called Winston Spencer Churchill or did I dream that
