Scottish comedy actor Gerard Kelly has died aged 51.

I only really knew his work through Extras, which he was brilliant in, highlighted by the fact that they asked him back for Series 2 and the Christmas Special. Me and my Dad still quote his lines from Extras and were shocked to hear of his passing.

He was great in Extras, especially in the episode from the first series. That was probably the single best episode of the show.
My abiding memory of him will be the ep is series 2, where he was miming the cupping of cum into his mouth in front of Andy's manly friends.

Very sad indeed. Obviously his role as Bunny is rightly lauded as a great performance and created a really memorable character out of very little, but he'd been doing some strong work in British comedy (and in drama etc) for many years before that. RIP.
Dreadful news. Such a talented man. He was great in 'City Lights', in which he played a 'Billy Liar' style character called 'Willie Melvin' who aspired to be a well known writer but never ever got anywhere with his dream.
