Whatever happened to Alan C? I know he was knocking on a bit, but I thought we had at least a few more years out of him until dementia took hold. And he did know more about sitcoms than everybody else on this forum put together.

He might be on holiday. It is the season for it.

Hey! I've been quoted! I feel like a proper celeb!

Flashback was ace-a-rooni. What is it with all these new films based on retro stuff though?

It's called tapping into the mid-life-crisis.

Oh I just suddenly remembered floppy disks.

Floppy floppy discs or hard floppy discs?

No way they could be middle aged coz Flash Back was my era and I'm 19.

I remember them being MASSIVE!
But I may just have had smaller hands...

Ah, proper floppy discs then. :)

Floppy floppy discs or hard floppy discs?

Um... hard ones I think.

Or, maybe both....

I may, possibly, remember some slightly floppy ones, vaguely.

Oh, my brain hurts.

With cables as thick as you fingers and the roller balls kept getting gunk in them and had to be cleaned all the bloody time :) good times

What the hell have you been getting on your desk if you need(ed) to clean them "all the time"?!

Oh, my brain hurts.

The big ones were actually floppy. 5.25" methinks they were.

The smaller ones were hard, and 3.5" in size.

computer desk/Dinner table.

You been rolling your mouse through ketchup? I very rarely have to clean my mouse.

Oh I mean floppy then. I think.
They weren't very floppy though.

The BBC Model B was prominent in my household. Though about 20 years out of date, as we're talking about 1991.
