"The attacks that began (by Israel) on June 13 resulted in very significant physical damage to three sites − Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow, where Iran had concentrated most of its activities related to uranium enrichment and conversion," Grosso told French radio. He added that other nuclear sites in Iran were not affected.
"What I can tell you, and I think everyone agrees on this, is that there is very considerable damage," he said.

Defunding the police means exactly that: taking away their funding, decreasing the size of the police force, and cutting back on patrols. It's proven to be disastrous in several large cities in the country. Many of them have realized the error of their ways and are trying to add new officers, but they're having a hard time getting anyone to accept a job under a (formerly) anti-police local administration.
There was a news report last year that on one Saturday night all of downtown Seattle had a total of two police officers on duty. This is a large city with a huge crime problem. My son lives right in the touristy part of Seattle and he no longer feels safe to leave his apartment after dark. Psychotic homeless people, open-air drug markets, and violence surround his $2500 per month apartment. He's watched people shot and murdered from his living room window, and while he carries a bag to pick up his dog's poop, human beings poop on the sidewalks in broad daylight. All of this can be laid at the feet of reduced policing, and the officers who are on the streets are reluctant to arrest people because they know that they will be released without charges. My son has had enough and will be moving later this year.
Raising taxes, freezing rents, and raising the minimum was to $30/hour (roughly double the UK's rate, if Google is to be trusted) will actually hurt the poor and struggling in New York City. Landlords won't be able to afford to keep their properties in good condition, and business that don't just shut down or move to nearby New Jersey will cut jobs. The tax-paying wealthy will also leave, and perhaps the city will have to consider bankruptcy as it did in the 70s.

During an interview with Kol BaRama radio, Nissim Vaturi called Palestinians "scoundrels" and "subhumans", adding that this is a group of people that cannot be accepted.
"They are outcasts and no one in the world wants them," he said, adding that Israel needs to "separate the children and women and kill the adults in Gaza, we are being too considerate."
